Vanessa Vitiello Williams, PsyD

About Me

I am a licensed psychologist in New York and New Jersey and accept tele-health clients through PSYPACT APIT. I specialize in providing integrative and individualized therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

I take a warm and empathetic position with my patients ensuring wellbeing for their whole selves, and rely on building a genuinely meaningful therapeutic relationship, valuing authenticity, humor, and compassion.

Together, we will create a safe space for you to explore your identity, relationships, and histories to better understand what aspects may be causing distress and how we can use them to shape a more fulfilling life. Through this collaborative approach, we will become curious about your experiences and find ways to build skills and self-understanding.

I have experience in a variety of treatment modalities including psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, play, family, interpersonal, attachment, trauma-focused, and integrative therapies. In addition, I am a registered yoga instructor (RYT-200) and incorporate aspects of this training into my work with clients for comprehensive experience.

If you are ready to experience the benefits of psychotherapy and build a better relationship with yourself and others, reach out. I look forward to meeting you soon!

What is PSYPACT?

As per PSYPACT’s website, “PSYPACT is an interstate compact designed to allow licensed psychologists to practice of telepsychology and conduct temporary in-person face-to-face practice of psychology across state boundaries legally and ethically without necessitating that an individual become licensed in every state to practice.”

Why is this important?

PSYPACT allows greater access to mental health care. Licensed psychologists are able to serve populations that may otherwise have limited access to mental health services. Due to the regulations in place, PSYPACT allows patients to receive ethical care from competent providers.
